I would've picked the North, why? I have lots of reasons, 1st is that the north seems to have a stronger army than the South. 2nd is that the north is less spread out compared to the South, so you dont have to walk for hundreds of miles to get there. 3rd is that the North had some of the best leaders during the civil era (period of time). 4th is that the North seems to have way more people than compared to the South. So I think it would be pretty obvious that I would go with the North.
I would pick the north because the north had factories instead of slaves. The south lived on farms and owned slaves to work for them. But the north had factories they did not had not have to use slaves to do there work for them thats why i picked the north.

NORTH, because slavery is the sickest thing I have ever heard of. Really if anyone on here picks the South I will get sick to my stomach. I don't see color and wouldn't then either, I think its a sick and cruel thing to even think about doing that.
