Revolutionary War

You are one of the ten key people of the Revolutionary Era we talked about in class. You need to write a short story about your experiences we talked about in class. A few of examples are: Cornwallis surrendering at Yorktown, Paul Revere taking part in the Boston Tea Party, John Adams convincing the Continental Congress to declare their independence, or any other you can think of. The story should be at least 2 paragraphs (that is at least 10 full, thought-out sentences). Be creative, but also be historical accurate.

To Rebel or Not?

You are a colonists in Massachusetts in 1774. The Boston Massacre happened in 1770 and the Boston Tea Party happened in 1773, what are your feelings toward the King of England? Will you join the rebels or stay loyal to the king? Pick one and tell me why you made that decision in a paragraph.

Colonial Regions

You need to pick one of the 3 Colonial Regions (New England, Mid-Atlantic, or Southern) we have studied, and write a "Day in the Life..." story using as many characteristics of that region from the Blue Packet as you can. Do not stop being creative until you have used all of them.

Colonies

You are to write a story about why you wanted to come to the New World and then what your life is like once you are there. Your topics to chose from are a Quaker going to Pennsylvania, a Puritan going to the Massachusetts Bay Colony, or a debtor prisoner going to Georgia. Your story should be multiple paragraphs and do not forget to sign in your name.

First American Tribes

If you had to join one of the 5 First American tribes we have discussed in class, which one would you join? Tell me what your life would be like in that tribe.

Tell me all the reasons you like History more than Science.  There is only one correct answer to this question.

Ohio River

You are a colonist in the New World.  You and your family have decided to move west in order to gain more land.  You need to describe what your journey was like through the Allegheny Mountains and finally to the Ohio River.  What was the land like?  Did you see any other people out there?  What were the First Americans like, friendly or hostile?  Where did you finally decide to settle?  What are you now doing for a living?  What is your life like?

I want you to write a short story and tell me about your adventures.  You need to use your best grammar and be creative.  This should be a few paragraphs and it should answer all the questions I asked above and more.
